Forensic Database – Community Edition – Limited Time Free Copy
The Forensic Database is a organization and management software tool made especially for Construction Expert Witnesses. Add your files, create Violation/Observation/Defect Lists, Categorize photos and images, and quickly begin a report.
This is a free version of the software. Free meaning free. You get to download, use indefinitely and keep the software as long as you live. We hope that you will take the time to return to this site and leave feedback on your experience but you are under no obligation. (That kind of free.)
This version will have bug updates and support for a long time… we don’t know what long time is yet. New features are not expected to be added to this version. It’s the basic version that we are using to get out and let the public see what we have. The Professional version will be the version where added features, updates and upgrades are made available. I’m a huge fan of software packages that let you organize and maintain your files in an intuitive way. Just stashing everything haphazardly in folders I make and name on the fly has come back to bite me many a time. Forensic database’s feature set helps has some awesome capabilities for adding notes and labels to images that make them easy to find again, but also to group and categorize in a logical way.
